I’ll start by saying that not every European person would be able to live like people here. In this country, problems with poverty and sanitation are rife. If you are going to spend time in this country, then you need to choose where to live carefully.

A very mediocre apartment in town will cost 2500 rupees per month’s rent. Prices in the capital are much higher. Can you live in such accommodation? I don’t know.

Hotel room in Delhi would cost from 700 rupees per day. It’s better to choose higher – priced hotels.
